May & James’ wedding at Dove Ridge Vineyard was so beautiful! May & James met through a dating app, and had their first date at Twisted Root for burgers. It was “love at first swipe.” Jame proposed in Iceland. The two of them were completely alone at the top of a mountain, so stinking romantic! May & James are such a sweet couple. They both love to travel together and have been to some beautiful places. They also enjoy running together!

The entire wedding day was so relaxed. Everyone was so excited and had a great time! During their ceremony they had a handfasting ceremony. Their hands were secured using 3 strings; a string representing James’ family, another string representing May’s family, and then one more to represent May & James’ new family they were creating. Their parents brought up their strings secured them around May & James’ hands representing their “tying the knot”.

The reception party was so much fun! James is an Aggie, so they had the Aggie War Hyme, always so much fun to photograph. James also SLID into the garter removal! It was so much fun to witness the fun energy and love between them as a couple.

May & James, thank you so much for having me document this special time in your lives. You both are so lovely and I am so blessed to have been able to work with you and your families. I am so excited to be sharing your wedding day blog with you and everyone else. You two are such a beautiful couple.
