Barista Branding Portraits

Meet Shepherd! I loved doing these barista branding portraits for my new friend. I met Shepherd at my new favorite coffee shop, which happens to be just a couple blocks from my new house, Frankly Coffee in Colorado Springs. When learning about his desire to start a new business, servicing home espresso machines. Shepherd is passionate about coffee – aren’t we all – and is using that passion to clean, dial in, and descale espresso machines! He happens to make an extremely great cup of coffee too!

I found a Breville Barista Express espresso machine at an estate sale and just could not pass up the deal! I now have two –  one for my place, and one for my dad’s when I visit. A little crazy, but I sure do enjoy a good cup of coffee. I knew it needed a little TLC though. Shepherd and I got to talking one day, and he shared his business idea! I quickly offered my espresso machine as a guinea pig. I cannot recommend Shepherd and his services enough! For good coffee, your machine needs to be cleaned, dialed in, and descaled and if you don’t want to spend 2+ bags of coffee and hours doing it yourself, Shepherd is your guy! Thanks to him, I can make my own coffee better than several shops in town. But I do have several go-to favorite coffee shops when I want to change things up! 🙂
