Chris & Courtney’s Proposal | T Lazy 7 Ranch Aspen, Colorado

I recently had the privilege of photographing Chris and Courtney’s meticulously planned and absolutely stunning surprise proposal at the T Lazy 7 Ranch in Aspen, Colorado. Between the backdrop of the iconic Pyramid Peak and the genuine surprise and joy on the faces of two people that are so clearly meant for each other, this proposal was one for the books!

A Proposal to Remember

Chris knew that this proposal had to be extraordinary and Aspen was the perfect setting. As a place where their love has flourished, from family connections to shared adventures, Aspen is the backdrop to their most cherished memories. With this in mind, he collaborated with a team of people to bring his vision to life. Chris worked with a member of The Little Nell team to create a picturesque setting at the ranch. The stage was set with a beautiful floral arch that bore the heartwarming message, “Will you marry me?”

Under the guise of a sunset tour and dinner at Pine Creek Cookhouse, Chris led Courtney on an adventure that would change their lives forever. Instead, the couple embarked on an ATV ride to the T Lazy 7 Ranch, where an idyllic scene awaited. Against this fairy-tale backdrop, Chris dropped to one knee and asked Courtney the most important question of his life.

With a resounding “yes,” the couple celebrated their official engagement with a bottle of champagne, toasting to their future together. Chris, a man of his word, fulfilled his promise by taking Courtney to Pine Creek Cookhouse, where they enjoyed a romantic dinner as a newly engaged couple.
