Meet Cara and Shane! This high school sweethearts have been through every stage of life together and are now eagerly anticipating the arrival of their baby boy due on January 5, 2025.

Capturing Precious Moments

Cara had a clear vision for their maternity session: to capture the excitement and romance of growing a family before she entered the third trimester. She expressed a love for soft lighting and the natural beauty of the outdoors, reflecting their shared passion for fly fishing and spending time on the river with their dog, Bode.

One of Cara’s goals was to capture the emotion on her husband’s face. She knew that his husband Shane, was over the moon about becoming a father. The maternity session was the perfect opportunity to document his genuine joy and excitement.

Cara and Shane planned to use the maternity photos to announce their pregnancy to the world. While family and local friends already knew, the photos would be a special way to share the news with everyone else.

The maternity session at East of Aspen Trail was a magical experience, filled with laughter, love, and anticipation. We captured the couple’s connection and the joy they felt as they prepared to welcome their baby boy.
