There is something truly special about winter in the mountains, especially when a family comes together to celebrate big milestones. This recent winter session was all about the boys! With two birthdays in December, it was the perfect time to capture this specific season of their lives.

One brother turned ten years old on December 1st, and the younger brother turned five on December 16th. Having back-to-back birthdays during a mountain getaway makes the trip even more unforgettable. If you are staying at the St. Regis Aspen Resort, the courtyard provides a stunning backdrop for these memories.

A Hockey Family on the Go

This crew is a total hockey family! Both boys play the sport, and the oldest is a dedicated AA travel player. Because they are always on the move for games and tournaments, they have become experts at traveling. These kids have been all over, but Aspen offers a unique pace that allows them to slow down and enjoy the scenery. When they aren’t on the ice, they love to dress up, head to a fancy dinner, and simply focus on making great memories together.

Focusing on the Moment
