Collier and Isabel’s story began in 2020 at a bar in Birmingham, Alabama, during their freshman year of college. Introduced by mutual friends, they hit it off immediately and started dating just a month later. While many college romances come and go, Collier knew this was different almost instantly. He recalls the first time Isabel came to visit him in Tuscaloosa—he turned to his roommate and told him flatly, “She is the one.”

When you ask Collier what makes Isabel unique, he describes her as the perfect balance of “sugar sweet,” hilarious, and deeply loving. She is the kind of person who makes every single day fun, which is exactly why he wanted their Proposal at Aspen Highlands to reflect that high-energy, joyful spirit.

After years of quietly collecting inspiration photos Rachel had shared, Collier took the lead on the ring design. He managed to keep the entire process—and the fact that he even had the ring—a total secret.

Champagne, Video, and a Mountain “Yes”

We coordinated the moment to be as seamless as possible. As they looked out over the vast Colorado wilderness, Collier dropped to one knee.
