Meet Brennan & Mercedes! These two are a couple of the cutest, country loving couples! I mean, who else comes to a session wearing cowboy boots other than a couple getting married at a barn?! 😉  Their wedding is going to be at Rustic Grace Estate later this year and I’m sure it’ll be oh so lovely! Brennan & Mercedes met in college – they both went to Texas Tech and met through mutual friends, then found out they lived in the same dorm! These two met as friends and hung out all the time, then realized that they liked similar things and activities and later started dating. Obviously now, these two are inseparable – their love for each other is so sweet and I loved the way Brennan encouraged Mercedes throughout the session.

Now, Mercedes is a teacher in Frisco and Brennan is an engineer who designs structures and houses/buildings. Well, during Mercedes teaching career, Brennan thought to propose to her after she got off work on a Friday, so unexpectedly decided to come home early, before Brennan was completely ready to surprise her with a ring! Well, he devised a plan to have her pick up Chick-Fil-A (her favorite fast food restaurant) before she came home. When she arrived, she noticed how clean the house was and then looked up to a sign he made that read “Mrs. Plemons” to which he then got down on one knee and asked her to Marry him. Of course she said yes, otherwise this story wouldn’t have been nearly as great. Haha! These two wanted their engagements to look rustic and like they were in the country, so I had the perfect spot picked out for them in Flower Mound.
