Lauren & Joe’s Engagement Portraits at East of Aspen Trail

I had such a wonderful time photographing Lauren and Joe’s engagement portraits in Aspen. We started their session at the East of Aspen Trail, one of the most peaceful and beautiful spots in town. Later, we made our way into downtown Aspen for some fun and stylish city portraits.

East of Aspen Trail

The East of Aspen Trail was the perfect place to begin. This trail is quiet, open, and surrounded by Aspen’s natural beauty. We walked along paths lined with tall trees, wide fields, and mountain views in the distance. The light was soft and golden, which made every photo feel warm and romantic.

Lauren and Joe laughed and held each other as we explored the trail. It felt like they had the whole place to themselves, making it the perfect backdrop for relaxed and natural engagement portraits.

Downtown Aspen

After the trail, we headed into downtown Aspen for a change of scenery. The charming streets, brick buildings, and little shops gave us a fun, playful vibe. Lauren and Joe looked so happy walking hand in hand, and the mix of mountain and city style made their session feel complete.

Downtown Aspen is always full of character, and it gave us a chance to capture another side of their love story. These portraits felt lively, modern, and full of energy — the perfect balance to the quiet nature shots from earlier.

From the peaceful beauty of the East of Aspen Trail to the heart of downtown Aspen, Lauren and Joe’s engagement session showed the very best of Aspen. It was such a joy to capture their connection in two very different, but equally special places.
