Elena and Sean’s family portraits at Lake Park were so much fun! We recently photographed their engagement photos at Lost Oak Winery. Our evening at Lake Park was definitely warm. However, the sunset provided us with gorgeous light that created shadows between the tall pine trees! Even the children amazed at how tall the trees were!

Sean has three kids, eight-year-old twins Harper and Logan, and Molly who is five. Elena and Sean wanted to be sure to include a family session during this season. They wanted to make this time special for the children and to help them become used to being in front of my camera before the wedding day!

The kids were shy at first, but I used a few tricks up my sleeve to help them get used to me! Even when meeting Elena for the first time at breakfast, Molly said “who’s that?!” But now, Molly is very close with Elena and it is the sweetest thing to witness. Once the kids were able to warm up to me and my camera, we ran around and raced to wherever we wanted to take pictures next! Of course, Logan always won the race. During my time at the session, I was able to learn a few things about these fun-loving kiddos. For example, the girls love to run and draw, and Logan loves to watch TV and play games. We ended the session with individual photographs of the kids jumping in the air, which they thoroughly enjoyed! We had a blast together.

To Elena and Sean, I am so thankful to have been a part of this session for such a sweet and loving family. Your family is so fun and I am so blessed to have been able to photograph y’all! It makes us even more excited for your wedding day!
