Family Portraits at Adriatica Village

Meet the Sheikhs! These family portraits at Adriatica Village were so fun! Zirwa (on the right in the first photo) and I went to high school together and have been very close friends since freshman year. I’m so proud and thankful to call her my friend. She is such a hard worker, a big dreamer, she knows exactly how to make someone smile and laugh, and is always there for anyone. Zirwa, like myself, loves to travel the world. We went to Iceland (see blog here) together a few years ago and absolutely loved our time there!

We did their family portraits at Adriatica Village, and I am so pleased with how they turned out. The ladies are wearing traditional Pakistani attire and look stunning in them! The vibrancy of the dresses against the stones is lovely.

The matriarch of this family, “mom” is known as the best cook and specializes in yummy Pakistani and Indian cuisine. For as long as I can remember, Zirwa has always wanted to be a lawyer, and she’s been successful in this realm for several years now in Downtown Dallas. Harris works for Lockheed Martin and adds some testosterone to the mix (kind of like my family – only one guy)! Purwa went to high school with my younger siblings too, which is fun! All three siblings went to and graduated from Texas A&M, and they all really enjoyed their experience there! So, of course, as any Aggie would, we got a picture of all three of them with their Aggie rings!

I love this family so much, and it’s always fun to photograph longtime friends. Thank y’all so much for allowing me to photograph your beautiful family!
