Han & Yiran’s wedding at Ashton Gardens was so beautiful! Han & Yiran first met in High School. Han & Yiran are such a sweet couple, and they’re both Doctors and want to help others.

The entire wedding day was so relaxed. Han & Yiran are both of Chinese decent, and the traditions of their culture were so fun to watch and learn! Han & Yiran wanted to incorporate the things they love to do into their wedding day. Yiran loves to play the game “Go.” While Han is learning to play the game, and Yiran plays regularly. Han enjoys playing the piano. They will each bring these things into their new family and shared in those actives together before heading to Ashton Gardens. Isn’t that so sweet?

The game “Go” was created in China, and it is said that if they can play well together, they are compatible. Han & Yiran played the game well together, and show all the signs of compatibility. Great news on your wedding day!

Han & Yiran arranged their wedding ceremony it in a way that shows gender equality between the bride’s party and the groom’s party.
Han & Yiran walked down the aisle together instead of Han’s father escorting her, so they could start their new life together as equals. Their reception had a Harry Potter theme, and Han wore a red dress to honor her Chinese heritage.

The majority of the reception was in Chinese. Most of the time the bride and groom acted like hosts on “talk shows” and ask guests questions to lead to some stories and memories. Friends and family shared so many stories and memories of the couple. For their exit they choose sparklers leading the way to their “get away car.” An 1980’s Excalibur!

Han & Yiran, thank you so much for having me document this special time in your lives. You both are so lovely and I am so blessed to have been able to work with you and your families.
