Tulum, Mexico – Mexico is one of the most affordable honeymoon destinations and has what seems to be an endless amount of beautiful beaches.
Costa Rica – Is such a beautiful place to visit. I went there on a mission trip and stayed an additional few days to go around Costa Rica and it was incredible! Costa Rica is full of hills and rainforests that are breathtaking! Depending on where you stay, it’s can be very affordable to stay there! The food was one of the best parts, make sure to get some black bean dip & horchata!
Italy – Beautiful, so many things to do, history, architecture, culture. It’s not hard finding it romantic in Italy since it is so gorgeous. These are beautiful destinations you may consider in Italy:
- Rome
- Venice
- Lake /como
- Cinque Terre
Ireland – For starters, Ireland is gorgeous, the beer is great, and who doesn’t love Irish accents? Also, Dublin has gone from being one of the most expensive places to visit to being one of the best bargains!
Greece – Cheap, but amazing, each island has its own beauty, & differentiability.
Airbnb are always a good idea for traveling because it can be considerably cheaper, but it also seems to be more enjoyable because you feel like you are living in Greece and not just visiting!

Portugal – Portugal is another one of the most affordable Western European destinations, and it is definitely less expensive than other parts of Europe. You can probably get away with spending somewhere between 50-120 euros a day there depending on where you stay and what you eat.
Utah – You can choose to fly or drive, but just know that it will take you at least two days to get there via car. But you can plan to stop in Page, AZ and see Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend which are a must see!! It is absolutely beautiful there too!

Beavers Bend, OK – In case you don’t want to travel far or if you only have a few days to get out from DFW, check out Beavers Bend! It’s a resort park that is very quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature! Kayaking, jet skiing, and fishing are a few fun activities that you may want to add to your list of things to do!
Lake Tahoe, Nevada – Lake Tahoe is probably the most beautiful lake you will ever see. The water is a clear blue color and is surrounded by mountains. If you love mountains and clear lakes, then definitely check Lake Tahoe out!
Oahu, Hawaii – Hawaii is a very popular vacation spot and can get pricey. Oahu, Hawaii has the same water and views but for a better price than some of the other islands!
Rocky Mountains, Colorado – Colorado is a beautiful place to visit, but if you want even more spectacular views, check out Rocky Mountains in Denver. They have some of the most amazing mountains and colors! You will fall in love with it. Colorado Springs is also gorgeous as the Garden of the Gods is there!
