Jake and Raechel’s Proposal | Ashcroft

The Ashcroft proposal of Jake and Raechel was filled with perfect moments and surprises. When I tell my couples to shake the bottle and point it towards me…this is the outcome! I’m not sure what’s more bubbly, the champagne or their love story. 

The Perfect Surprise

Jake planned an unforgettable surprise for Raechel at Ashcroft. Not only did he plan to propose, but he arranged for their friends and family to secretly be there for the big moment. Some drove from Denver while others flew in, making the surprise even more special when they appeared after she said “yes,” champagne flutes ready in hand.

After the proposal, the celebrations kicked off with champagne spraying through the mountain air while everyone raised their flutes for a toast – creating those picture-perfect moments that make my job as a photographer so rewarding. The joy and excitement were contagious as the newly engaged couple celebrated with their loved ones.

The celebrations continued throughout the weekend in Aspen. The group enjoyed dinner in town, followed by a night out at The Sterling Aspen, a popular lounge and nightclub. Jake and Raechel, both from Denver, carried their celebration spirit into planning their next adventure – a trip to Vietnam. Their love for travel and new experiences shows this proposal was just the beginning of their exciting journey together.
