Sometimes the most perfect moments come from spontaneous decisions. That’s exactly what happened when I received an unexpected phone call this morning from Michael, asking if I could capture his surprise proposal to Emma at the top of Aspen Mountain – in just 30 minutes!

High School Sweethearts to Forever

Michael and Emma’s love story began eight years ago in their junior year of high school in Florida. After growing together through their teenage years and into adulthood, Michael knew it was time to take their relationship to new heights – literally!

Originally, Michael had planned to propose on their local Florida beach. However, during their annual family trip to Aspen, Emma mentioned how she wanted something different from the typical beach proposal. Little did she know, Michael had packed the ring “just in case,” thanks to his mom’s wise suggestion.

A Picture-Perfect Mountain Moment

With perfect weather and breathtaking views at the top of Aspen Mountain, Michael knew this was the moment. After scouting the location, he made the spontaneous decision to propose right there. Within minutes of his decision, he called me to capture this life-changing moment.

Making the moment even more special, Michael’s parents were there to witness their son’s proposal. His dad even rushed inside to grab champagne for an impromptu celebration against the backdrop of Aspen’s stunning mountain peaks.
