I love to travel! You never know what to expect on a 24 hour safari tour, guided by a one-handed driver, driving a manual vehicle. While we were traveling for a mission trip in Tanzania for clean water projects, Todd was actually an amazing driver – he drove us around the country to remote villages and could handle just about anything…except that one time it was rainy and super muddy, that we got stuck in the middle of nowhere…But we don’t talk about that. 😉 However, I’m pretty sure he was the best driver in the country – people don’t know how to drive there (at ALL!!) and the roads are horrendous. Nothing like the potholes or bad construction on 35E in DFW. Seriously – imagine jolting up and down for HOURS trying to get to one destination that’s only 20 miles away. Never again will I complain about Dallas roads being bumpy. Haha!
Anyway, about the safari – it. was. amazing. It was probably one of the most exciting and thrilling tours I’ve ever been on. So much adventure and wildlife within feet of the vehicle. We saw everything: zebra, giraffe, elephant, impala, water buffalo, wildebeests, wild hog, hyena & lions (6 of them)! I think that covers it. It was so neat. Here are some favorites from the safari.
What are you waiting for?! Go ahead and book your safari trip here! 😉
