MJ & Derek are having a baby! We went to the River Walk at Central Park in Flower Mound for their maternity session. The weather was amazing for summer in the mid to high 80’s! It couldn’t have been better for July!

You may recognize MJ & Derek from their wedding, which you can look back to here. They don’t have a honeymoon baby, which was a question they got asked regularly, but got pregnant shortly after their honeymoon. They are expecting their sweet son, get this, on Labor Day! What a fun way to celebrate the holiday! MJ announced their pregnancy to Derek by giving his an early Christmas gift. The gift was their sweet babies first outfit.

I asked both MJ & Derek what he was most looking forward to about having a son. Derek said, “I’m excited for us to get into mischief together.” MJ had some wisdom about her future in regards to that, “I know I’ll be on my toes, trying to keep everyone out of mischief!”
