Latisha Hardy Headshots | Olympic Museum Downtown Colorado Springs Photographer
Meet Latisha Hardy, AKA Tish! These headshots at Olympic Museum in downtown Colorado Springs were too fun! Latisha has become a friend, and she is a phenomenal dancer and instructor. I met her in class when I started taking classes here in October last year. You might also recognize Tish from the Ahorita Dance Social I had the privilege of shooting last weekend!
Tish is a well known and respected instructor and is being interviewed for the Tamran Hall Show. You can check out Tish’s dance studio here! She and her team teach a variety of classes. Salsa and Bachata happen to be two of my favorites and I’m also taking Mambo (Salsa on 2)! I started going to her classes a while ago, and I have just fallen in love with the movement and control dance can have over your body – it’s a fun challenge. It also happens to be a great excuse to sweat – ha! Latisha’s classes are fun, exciting, and really encourage the beauty of community. You leave with far more than learning a few new moves.
The Olympic Museum in downtown Colorado Springs provided the best background for these headshots. I was in awe of the light and all the different geometrical backdrops. Latisha is a natural in front of the camera, and I loved how the blue blazers and pink lips just really pop in these photos! We did a last-minute shoot, and I am stoked with how they turned out. Beautiful lighting and weather (minus the wind unless it was on queue) are a photographers dream.
Latisha, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to capture these stunning shots of you! It was a joy, and I am so thankful I also get to call you a new friend and dance instructor. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
