Shelby & Tyler’s October Ashton Gardens wedding was so beautiful! Full of glam, black & pink, and donuts! Shelby & Tyler are so in love and on their big day you could really see the emotion because of their interactions with one another. We did their engagement session several months ago, which you can see here! You can also see Shelby’s bridal blog here. She looks stunning! The entire wedding day was so relaxed. Everyone was so excited and had a great time!

A few of my favorite moments were when Shelby did a special dance with her Papa, her grandfather – it was so sweet! They’re both Blues Brothers fans and danced to one of their songs. She also had her papa come with her to her bachelorette party as the “bride security” – love! Another favorite aspect to the day was when Leon, Shelby’s dad gave a toast, then had everyone join them on the stage to gather in prayer – this was so sweet & sentimental, I absolutely love it. Oh, and last thing: DONUTS! Shelby love’s donuts and couldn’t go without some of Dallas’ famous Hypnotic Donuts! So. Good.

These two met at a racetrack about a year and a half two years ago that Shelby’s brother and Tyler’s friend were racing in. Tyler was cleaning a car and Shelby said to him “do you need a woman to show you how to clean that?” He then handed her the rag and walked off! Obviously they took a liking to each other because they started dating later on and now look at them!

Tyler proposed at their housewarming party. Shelby had told him what ring she wanted and he went and bought it. She had expected the proposal, but she was so busy with getting everything ready for the housewarming party that she was still surprised! It was a great time because all their family and friends were there to witness it and celebrate for many reasons!

Shelby & Tyler, thank you so much for having me document this special time in your lives. You both are so fun and I am so blessed to have been able to work with you and your families. I am so excited to be sharing your wedding day blog with you and everyone else. You two are such a beautiful couple.
