When you have the chance to visit another country, how do you say no?! Allison, Jeff, and I had the chance to travel to the Middle East and experience life in Dubai, while on the way to Tanzania, where we were documenting clean water projects for Thirst Relief and SON International. Here are a couple previous posts about our trip:
In Abu Dubai we were able to go to the desert, ride a camel, drive on the sand dunes, hold a falcon, have an Indian dinner while watching traditional dances, go to the city and see the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa, and walk the biggest mall in the world, which had an aquarium, a ski resort, a waterfall, and many stores and restaurants. We did all this in 20 hours while in the UAE! Here are some favorites from our 20 hour trip in Dubai:
