Paige & Chip’s Winter Elopement at The Little Nell

Paige and Chip chose to elope in winter, high above Aspen, with the mountains wrapped in snow and the air crisp and quiet. Their Winter Elopement at The Little Nell felt intentional, joyful, and deeply personal. Every part of the day flowed with ease and meaning, proving that a mountain wedding is breathtaking in any season. Before their big day, we actually captured their Engagement Session at Aspen Meadows—Click here to read the engagement story of Paige & Chip!

A Snowy Start on Aspen Mountain

The day began at the Gondola Plaza. Friends and family gathered as Paige and Chip prepared to ride up Aspen Mountain together. The gondola ride set the tone; it felt calm, exciting, and full of anticipation. Once at the top, the views opened wide. Snow-covered peaks stretched in every direction, creating a stunning backdrop for a Winter Elopement at The Little Nell. We took time for portraits with their closest people, making sure to capture the crisp mountain air.

The Ceremony at the Top of the Mountain

Their ceremony took place near the top of Aspen Mountain. The setting felt quiet and peaceful. Surrounded by friends, family, and winter scenery, Paige and Chip exchanged vows in a moment that felt grounded and sincere.

Winter light reflected softly off the snow, adding a clean and timeless feel to the ceremony. Nothing distracted from the moment. The focus stayed on their connection and commitment.

Portraits in the Snow

After the ceremony, we captured family and friend portraits, followed by time alone with Paige and Chip. The snowy landscape created a simple and elegant setting for their couple portraits.

They moved easily together, relaxed and present. The winter scenery added a sense of stillness that made the moments feel even more meaningful.

Celebrating at The Little Nell

After riding the gondola back down, the celebration continued at The Wine Bar at The Little Nell. Friends met them there to toast, laugh, and celebrate their marriage.

The warmth of the Wine Bar was the perfect contrast to the snowy mountain above. It felt cozy, inviting, and full of joy.

A Thoughtful Winter Elopement

Paige and Chip’s winter elopement was a beautiful reminder that a wedding day doesn’t need to be elaborate to be meaningful. Every choice they made reflected who they are and how they wanted to celebrate.

Paige and Chip, thank you for trusting me to capture your winter elopement at The Little Nell. Your day was calm, joyful, and unforgettable.
