These two are SO cute! I am so happy that I got to be apart of Madison and Andrey’s wedding day in Detroit! I love traveling for weddings! We had their engagement the day before their wedding in the Michigan Theatre which you can see here. I have absolutely loved getting to know this amazing couple. A really fun fact about these two is that Andrey is from Russia and Madison lived in Tanzania, Africa! Madison’s parents are missionaries and I worked with them back in 2015 for a mission trip which you can read all about here.
Madison and Andrey’s wedding was so much fun! These two met near the beginning of college about 6 years ago & became great friends. One of their favorite activities together is playing disk golf, so Andrey proposed to Madison during a round of disk golf and she never expected it to happen there, but she loved it! It was great being reunited with friends I consider family and traveling to Detroit! It snowed the day of their wedding which made for some beautiful images – I was freaking out a bit because I’ve never photographed someone in the snow at night (I’m a Texas girl, y’all)! I am so excited to be sharing this wedding with you all.
Madison & Andrey, thank you so much for having me document such a special day for you and your families! You all have been such a joy to work with and get to know! I am so honored to have been able to do this for you. I am so excited to see you both go through life together. Thank you for the opportunity to go to Detroit and have an amazing time!
