Breckenridge, Colorado…

My new favorite location to photograph! Mollie and Arren are one of my DREAM couples. As soon as I received her inquiry, I knew it was meant to be. After I moved to Colorado, in the inquiry, Mollie mentioned she wanted to go to Breckenridge for their engagements and I knew it was going to be perfect! Even with Arren being afraid of heights, he was such a trooper and became fearless! I might have encouraged the extent of how far he went, but it was totally worth it, right?! 😍 I love every location we went to, from Sapphire Point on Lake Dillon, to Windy Point, to Blue Lakes. It was all soo beautiful!!

How did these two meet and become engaged? Their story: We met at a mutual friend’s graduation party! It was a quick “hi nice to meet you” moment. We met again a few weeks later at a place called flying saucer to grab some beers with mutual friends. We ended up sitting next to each other and started to talk about everything possible! The rest was history 🙂

Our engagement happened in Breckenridge Colorado. Arren surprised me with a road trip to Colorado. We started in Vail for a few days, and then he took me to Breck. When we visited Breck, he walked me down to my Nana’s memorial bench on the river in town. He proposed to me on that bench. I lost my nana right when Arren and I first started dating. She was like a second mom to me. Arren knew how much I missed her and having her be a part of this important moment in this way will always mean too much to me! I use to sit in the exact spot on that river as a kid with my Nana. Now that spot is even more meaningful to me!

We ended the evening with dinner & drinks together in Downtown Breckenridge at Modis and it was quite lovely.  These two are not only so much fun but are so sweet & kind! I’m stoked for their Dallas Wedding at the Milestone, one of my favorite wedding venues in DFW. These two make me excited about everything that’s to come! More Dallas weddings, even more engagements, and weddings in Colorado.
