Katelyn & Caleb’s tied the knot at Ashton Gardens this summer. Their love was evident from the moment I met them! They’re both so sweet and were truly meant to be together. Their wedding day went off without a hitch, as they were married at Ashton Gardens in Corinth, Texas in the middle of July this summer. The newlyweds put a lot of time into planning their wedding, and their hard work really paid off! It was a spectacular day that everyone will remember forever, and we’re so happy we got to be there to capture it.
When Katelyn and Caleb first reached out to me about photographing their wedding, I was immediately excited. They had an obvious love for each other from the moment we met, and their fun personalities made them so easy to work with! Throughout our time together on their big day at Ashton Gardens in Corinth, Texas, I could tell that they are best friends who have been brought together by a love that goes beyond anything else.
Their love story leading up to this day spans over 8 years with a friendship that blossomed. Katelyn was invited by a friend to go to six flags where she met Caleb’s brother, Isaac. She got invited to go back to their house to swim and that’s when these two love birds met! They hang out every day that summer and the rest of the last 8 years!
Caleb and Katelyn have always loved the Dallas World Aquarium. She had been so focused on school that Caleb wanted to take her out so she could decompress some. Since she hadn’t gotten dressed up in a long time Katelyn’s mom took her to get her nails and pampering done. She was absolutely surprised when Caleb asked her to marry him at the aquarium that day!
We met when Caleb’s brother (Isaac, Best man) was at six flags when I was invited by one of my friends. Isaac asked if any of us would like to go back to his house to swim and that’s where I met Caleb. Since it turned out that they lived super close, I ended up going back to hang out with Caleb everyday that Summer, and the rest of the last 8 years 🙂 . Caleb and I have always loved the Dallas World Aquarium. I had been so focused on school that Caleb wanted to take me out so I could decompress some. Since, I hadn’t gotten dressed up in a long time my mom took me to get my nails done. I didn’t think that I was going to be surprised when he proposed but I was wrong! I was honestly perfect.
Ashton gardens is a beautiful location for any event but it is especially perfect for a summer wedding. The newlyweds put a lot of time into planning their wedding including finding all of the details that made their day special – from their ceremony site and reception venue (which was absolutely stunning) to their florals, cake designer, and even the abundance ofl desserts they had for their guests! It was a spectacular day that everyone will remember forever – we’re so happy we got to be there to capture it.
From the beautiful, soft pink, white, and blue flowers, to the stunning bridal details and romantic portraits, this wedding was a dream. The bride, Katelyn, wore 2 stunning dresses and the groom, Caleb, wore a his suit well. They also opted not to do a first look and instead do a gift exchange pre-ceremony. It was so sweet!
Congratulations, Kately & Caleb! We’re so excited to see where life takes you in the future.
