A unique joy comes from a family choosing the mountains for a spring getaway. For this vibrant crew, a portrait session with a Mollie Gibson Park family focus offered the perfect way to document their shared love for exploration. Even though they live in a mountain-less state, all four children are seasoned travelers. They feel completely at home among the high peaks. Choosing Aspen for their vacation allowed us to capture their energy in a beautiful setting.

An outdoor family session at Mollie Gibson Park provides a vast, scenic stage to showcase the mountains. Additionally, it gives the children plenty of space to move naturally. This lovely family features twin boys and two girls who are very close in age. Because they share so many interests, people often mistake them for quadruplets. Therefore, the sibling bond truly became the star of the show during our time together.

The vision for these photos focused on family adventure and the grand landscape. We balanced close-up portraits with wide, zoomed-out shots. These artistic frames show the family as one part of a vast landscape. Every single image will contribute to a stunning gallery wall back home.

During our time at the location, we focused on a mix of posed portraits and natural movement. Watching the kids interact against the rugged peaks reminded everyone of their strong family bond. Ultimately, these images will look perfect as a canvas collage in the kids’ office area.
