I recently had the privilege to document the moment that would mark the next chapter in this sweet couple’s love story! Gavin and Brooke’s engagement was a truly touching moment. Gavin meticulously planned the perfect surprise proposal at the Maroon Bells. Grab some tissues because this one was moving to say the least!

The Perfect Surprise

Our day started with an early morning shuttle ride to the Bells. Once I spotted Gavin and Brooke, I stayed close but out of view and pretended to be a local photographer just out shooting some beautiful landscapes, not all that uncommon at this stunning location! Little did Brooke know, Gavin and I had already planned my cue. When they reached the iconic spot in front of Maroon Lake, I knew it was time. Gavin dropped to his knee, Brooke was truly shocked and so obviously filled with pure admiration and joy. Gavin’s hard work paid off, Brooke said “yes!” and it was the perfect proposal!

Exploring The Bells

After Gavin’s surprise, I had the privilege of meeting Brooke, still in shock after this heartwarming secret came to light, and was able to take them down a few trails that included enchanting views of the Aspen trees and wildflowers. Set against The Bells and all the beauty that is Aspen, I was able to capture their joy and excitement in all that is to come with the next part of their journey.
