Allison & James’ couples session in Nashville, Tennessee last week was SO much fun! From photographing their engagements, to wedding, to now getting to document them in their new town of Nashville. I’ve absolutely loved getting to know this sweet couple. Not to mention how sweet Allison’s baking skills are (get it? ;)): she’s been making these amazing cookies with all types of themes to them! When I arrived, she welcomed me with Nikon, Canon, & #MaggShots cameras and a stack of luggage cookies & they were the cutest cookies & were also delicious! I love Allison’s heart and hospitality! She sent me a whole list of places to eat and go to, which I tried as many as I could & they were all so amazingly delicious! A few faves: Biscuit Love, Von Elrod’s, and we also found this amazing coffee shop that recently opened called Retrograde Coffee – their Shagbark Latte is to die for. I’m drooling just thinking about it…
What brought them to Nashville was James’ job with Dell – they office in Austin & Nashville, so James & Allison opted for a change of scenery from living in College Station & Dallas most of their lives. I think it was a pretty great option for a new location to live: Nashville was so hospitable & was definitely a foodie town with anything you could want. I could probably live here, at least for a while. Haha!
For their couples session in Nashville, we went to the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge (The Pedestrian Bridge for short). We also went to Centennial Park which I fell in love with! The Parthenon in Nashville is an exact, full-scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. I thought it was so fascinating.
Thank you Allison & James for documenting you two in Nashville! Much love to y’all!
