Are you going to be getting married at Ashton Gardens or thinking about it and not sure if you want a brunch or evening wedding? This blog will hopefully help you make that decision for the look you are wanting and clue you in on what the differences are!
The Look You Will Get – Year round, Ashton Gardens offers the outside feeling from the comforts of a climate controlled building. So many couples love the idea of an outside wedding but in Texas, you never know what kind of weather mother nature will throw your way. Enter the best of both worlds, our chapel and ballroom. Recently renovated, the Dallas Ashton Gardens location boasts the best views of lush greenery through our stunning floor to ceiling windows, timeless and elegant chandeliers and chic wood beam details.
Lighting – So much of the draw to Ashton Gardens is the lighting. The floor to ceiling windows in the chapel and the ballroom offer photographers some of the best lighting in the DFW. For almost eight months out of the year, people experience long days, resulting in sunset times starting at early as 7pm or as late 8:30p. No matter if you host a brunch time ceremony or evening nuptials, our timeframes meet any wedding day vision.
The three images below show you the three different styles you can get depending on the time of year!
The ceremony start times for the pictures below were as follows:
Top – October 8th at 12:00 pm
Middle – March 12th at 5:00 pm
Bottom – January 14th at 6:30 pm
Cost – Pricing varies based on day and time of the day. While both time frames offer the same all-inclusive experience, hosting an event earlier in the day offers almost 57% in savings. Having an event earlier in the day also changes your overall event needs. Not only is there a chance for things to change like your bar, but also need for other items like up-lights, candles, etc. Some people look at cost as what they save when it comes to stress. Occasionally, people look at the brunch time frame as an opportunity to throw some of the more stressful details of an evening wedding out the window to focus on the true heart of the event, the union.

Time after the wedding – Your wedding day is full of love and laughter, but it is also insanely busy! You most likely didn’t see your significant other before the wedding, and after you said “I do” you maybe got a few minutes together. If you have a brunch wedding you could be done at 3:00pm and have the rest of the day to relax with your husband or wife and get ready for the honeymoon! If you have an evening wedding it will still be a beautiful day, you just won’t have as much time after the wedding to spend it with your spouse.
No matter what look you are wanting, it doesn’t change anything about the real reason for that day. Some of the images you have seen also had first looks which also helps with the timeline and getting more awesome images! Here is a blog all about first looks and why you should consider doing one! We hope you enjoyed this blog and would like to thank Ashley from Ashton Gardens on helping us write this blog and giving us the best advice possible!
