Ahorita Dance Social with Latisha Hardy at Epiphany | Colorado Springs Photographer

This was such a fun event to capture! I also was able to dance a good bit, which I have zero complaints about! Nilaja (Nini) J. Montgomery and House of Flawless Boutique sponsored this Ahorita Dance Social with Latisha Hardy at Epiphany in Colorado Springs.  Latisha Hardy is an award winning dance instructor at her studio in Colorado Springs, and it was an absolute privilege that she taught and led bachata and salsa for the evening.

A little bit about Nini and her book: Nini was born in New Orleans, Louisiana but spent most of her life in Indiana where she graduated from Indiana University – Bloomington. While she cheered on the Hoosiers, she co-founded the Upsilon Chapter of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. with seven other women. After college, she me the love of her life, an active-duty soldier who has since retired. She joined the military as an Officer in 2009 and was deployed a couple of times. Nini eventually went into the Reserves and gave birth to Justice. She and her husband are two veterans living with PTSD, and her little family is in therapy every week. She is thankful for where therapy has brought to today.
