Situated near the Gunnison National Forest, Ragged Mountain Events features rolling meadows, dramatic mountain backdrops, and rustic ranch charm. Consequently, the open valley provided Jayme and Malcolm with a peaceful setting to exchange vows under the open sky.

From Whitewater Raft Guides to a Buckskin Pass Proposal

Their story began in May 2017 when they met as rookie raft guides at Aspen Whitewater Rafting. They spent so much time joking around that trainers had to separate them into different rafts.

Years later, Malcolm popped the question at the top of Buckskin Pass on the final day of a four-day hike along the Four Pass Loop. With their best man and maid of honor hiding with a camera and champagne, Malcolm dropped to one knee against the backdrop of the Maroon Bells.

Golden Hour Portraits and Panoramic Vistas

The wedding day began with joyful preparations as Jayme looked stunning in her classic gown and flowing veil, paired with Malcolm in his sharp suit. Following their heartfelt outdoor ceremony, we walked through the open fields for portraits against the rugged mountain peaks.
