Proposal at Wayne Ferguson Plaza was so fun! Proposals are one of my favorite moments to photograph, too! Josh proposed to Christina on saturday and she said “yes!” Well, at the time, Josh said she didn’t even say “yes,” but after that comment, she did – hah! Josh is my husband’s boss, so I’ve known Josh for several years now. I loved being apart of this special moment & can’t wait until your wedding day! These two met back in middle school and grew up together in the same area. Life went on and they went off and did their own thing. Later on, she found him on linkedin (he has no other form of social media) and they got back in contact with each other! Soon after, they started long distance dating – she lived in Hawaii most of the time, but just moved back to Dallas for a job!
Josh has a son named Oliver and we actually did a session together a few years ago that you can see here! I can’t believe how big Oliver is now! Christina also has a son whose name is Diego and he is absolutely handsome & such a fun & happy kid!
Okay, story time, this is how the proposal went down. Josh told Christina that they were going to have family pictures taken at Wayne Ferguson Plaza in Lewisville. Then, in the middle of the shoot he surprised her by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry him. He wanted to incorporate the kids to make it more memorable & sentimental. How sweet, right?
Josh and Christina, I am so excited for you both and your families! What an exciting time you have ahead of you full of love and laughter! Thank you for having me capture such a sweet moments! Congratulations you two!
They designed the ring together & Christina wanted to incorporate the family, so the blue diamond represents Josh & the tulips (on all four sides of the setting) represent each family member. Looove this!
