Meet Katie & Jake! Their engagement session took place at Green Acres Park in Flower Mound and the weather was so great! They were naturals during their engagement session and I loved getting to photograph them!

These two have been together since Katie was a freshman and Jake was a senior and have thoroughly enjoyed so many milestone together. Katie is a manager at a Credit Union and Jake works at RifleGear, he develops curriculum and teaches LTC courses. Katie & Jake met at StoneGate Christian Academy and hit it off real well obviously!

On Christmas Eve 2019 the weather was warm for a winter day, so Jake  & Katie went for a walk at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. Katie began to get hungry and wanted to go get something to eat but Jake wanted to continue walking down to the pond. This caused Katie’s to become suspicious because Jake doesn’t like to hike. While enjoying watching the fish around in the pond Jake got down on his knee as asked Katie to be his bride! So cute, right?

I’ve known Katie since she was a toddler! We both attended Community Bible Church and participated in their Awana program.  I first photographed Katie & Jake for their school portraits at StoneGate, then Katie again for her Senior Portraits. I’m so excited to photograph this extremely special event in their lives!

Thank you so very much for having me be apart of this amazing time in both of your lives! I have loved getting to know y’all so far and can’t wait for the wedding day in March! I hope you love your engagement portraits as much as I have loved getting to know & photograph y’all!
