Meet Meng & Andrew! Their session took place in Las Colinas at the Canal and the weather was perfect. They were naturals during their engagement session and I loved getting to photograph them!

Both Meng & Andrew are in the medical field. Andrew is in residency at UTSW, while Meng is finishing her medical degree in Michigan. Being apart isn’t the easiest thing to do, but they seem to be making it work visiting each other and staying intentional.

Meng & Andrew met while at a science conference in Chicago and hit it off real well obviously! They had actually met 10 years prior at National Institutes of Health as research fellows. Andrew planned to propose at Christmas at the Christmas tree in Parkland since he was working that day, but the ring didn’t come in time. So, 2 weeks later he flew to Michigan. Meng noticed a bulge in his pocket when she picked him up at the airport, but didn’t say anything. When they got to the house Meng started to walk inside and Andrew said, “Hey, you forgot something.” He pulled out the ring and asked her to be his. He was so excited/nervous he forgot tot get down on one knee. So cute, right? Meng & Andrew love to travel, eat out & workout together.

Thank you so very much for having me be apart of this amazing time in both of your lives! I have loved getting to know y’all so far and can’t wait for the wedding day in March! I hope you love your engagement portraits as much as I have loved getting to know & photograph y’all!
