Rachel & Mitch’s Ashton Gardens Wedding

Love has a unique way of weaving together two souls, and such is the story of Rachel and Mitch. Their journey began with a simple blind date, orchestrated by a mutual friend. Little did they know at the time that fate had grander plans in store for them. Fast forward to July 1st, 2023 in Dallas, Texas, Rachel and Mitch said “I do” in a wedding celebration that was nothing short of magical at the elegant Ashton Gardens.

The Beginning

From the moment they met, Rachel and Mitch shared an instant connection. Their love strengthened through years of laughter,  heartfelt conversations, and a shared love for their fur baby Mila. Amongst many endearing qualities a few favorites stood out. Mitch’s favorite quality in Rachel, her sense of humor. Rachel’s favorite quality in Mitch, his unwavering kindness. Qualities that ultimately led the couple to make the decision that they were each other’s person.

The Proposal

When the time came for Mitch to propose, he chose the perfect location – Hermann Park, a place that held a special place in their hearts. Mitch surprised Rachel with his proposal and their closest family and friends waiting in the wings. She instantly said yes! After the proposal, we were able to capture the newly engaged couple through a portrait session. Their love and excitement was evident in every image. You can check out some of our favorites HERE. 

The Big Day

As their wedding day approached, the excitement was palpable. The couple’s first look before the ceremony was a sweet and emotional moment, capturing the deep connection that these two share. The ceremony itself was nothing short of breathtaking, surrounded by loved ones as well as the natural beauty of Ashton Gardens.

The reception that followed was a true reflection of Rachel and Mitch’s vibrant personalities. The space was filled with love, laughter, and lots of dancing! Every moment was a true testament to Rachel and Mitch’s love for one another and the people in their lives. One particularly touching moment was the final dance Rachel and Mitch shared at the end of the evening alone as newlyweds. Overall, it was a day filled with heartwarming moments such as this and one that everyone involved will no doubt cherish forever!

Rachel and Mitch, thank you so much for having me document this special time in your lives. You both are so lovely and I am so blessed to have been able to work with you and your families.
