Just one week later, fate seemed to step in again. They both happened to be in Florida at the same time, where Jared asked her on what felt like their first “real” date. From that point on, they saw each other every week, and the rest is history.

One of my favorite parts of photographing Callie and Jared was seeing how naturally they fit together. Their personalities complement each other in the sweetest ways.

Callie describes Jared as someone who is incredibly thoughtful, engaging, and endlessly knowledgeable. Whether he’s building something with his hands, cooking an incredible meal, or sharing another fascinating fact, she admires his curiosity and confidence. In her words, he’s “the man and the woman of the house” because there seems to be nothing he can’t do.

Jared’s first impression was much simpler. He remembers thinking Callie was simply “too pretty for me.” Sometimes, the simplest words tell the biggest story.
