There’s something special about documenting children’s journey on the slopes. At Buttermilk Mountain, we captured every milestone – from their first tentative steps in ski school to their proud smiles as they mastered the basics. Each photograph tells part of their story, showing their growing confidence throughout the day.

As a family photographer, these progressive sessions are my favorite. We didn’t just take static portraits – we captured real moments of learning, achievement, and joy. The natural progression from ski school to actual skiing provided authentic emotions and genuine smiles that make family portraits truly meaningful.

Slopes to Sleigh Rides

After conquering Buttermilk’s beginner-friendly slopes, the Molnars’ adventure continued at Stillwater Ranch. They experienced the magic of a traditional sleigh ride, pulled by a majestic draft horse. The transition from dynamic ski portraits to family moments in the sleigh created a perfect variety of winter memories.

From 10:45 AM to 3:50 PM, we captured every special moment of the Molnars’ winter adventure. The combination of skiing achievements and the unique experience of a horse-drawn sleigh ride made for an unforgettable family photo session.
