Proposal at Ashcroft Ghost Town: Anders and Lucy

A Romantic Ask Across from Pine Creek Cookhouse

Finding a love story that begins with a blind date and leads to a mountain peak is pure magic. For Anders and Lucy, planning a proposal at Ashcroft Ghost Town was the ultimate celebration of their adventurous journey together. Tucked away across from Pine Creek Cookhouse in Castle Creek Valley, the open meadows and dramatic mountain peaks provided a peaceful setting for an unforgettable “yes.”

Planning a Proposal at Ashcroft Ghost Town

Choosing a proposal at Ashcroft Ghost Town offers couples a timeless alpine setting filled with rustic charm. Located near Aspen, this historic area features open valley paths, golden grasses, and sweeping mountain views. Consequently, the scenic landscape gave Anders a quiet space away from the crowds to pop the question.

From a Blind Date Mix-Up to Global Adventures

After moving to Colorado from Texas, Lucy connected with a mutual friend who instantly realized she shared Anders’ fun, outgoing energy. Their first date took place on September 21st at a cocktail bar where a funny drink mix-up had them laughing right away. From that night on, their shared love for laughter, games, and travel built an unbreakable bond.

Anders knew Lucy was the one after traveling together through Switzerland, France, Spain, and impulse-buying a birthday trip to Portugal. Her brave, loyal, and fun-loving spirit made it clear that they were meant to explore the world together forever.

An Unforgettable Mountain Ask and Champagne Celebration

With the towering peaks framing the valley, Anders dropped to one knee during their proposal at Ashcroft Ghost Town. Lucy felt pure joy as she enthusiastically said yes to spending forever with her best friend.

Moreover, Anders added our custom champagne and flutes add-on to celebrate immediately after she said yes. Popping a bottle of champagne surrounded by mountain views made their big moment feel extra luxurious and sweet. Afterward, they walked across the road to enjoy a celebratory dinner at Pine Creek Cookhouse.

Celebratory Portraits in Castle Creek Valley

The soft afternoon light filtered through the valley, casting a warm glow over the landscape during their proposal at Ashcroft Ghost Town. Combining candid laughter with romantic champagne toasts ensured their gallery felt authentic and full of life.

Additionally, capturing a couple who shares such a joyful, adventurous connection is always a true honor. If you want to see more mountain engagement stories, feel free to explore my Aspen proposal photography gallery.
