Dallas Arboretum Wedding

Oh my goodness, I don’t even know where to start. I instantly hit it off with Alli & Pamitha on our first phone call together, which only lasted about 90 minutes – Haha! Time flies with talking with them. They were so personable, caring, and kind, and I knew we’d fit so well together.

We had THE best time after first meeting in person, it felt like we already know each other, even though we only ‘met’ over the phone! Their Colorado engagement session at Garden of the Gods was such a fun time. Even though it was absolutely freezing, and the wind chill was in the negatives, we had such a wonderful time. They rocked their snowy Colorado engagement session!

Alli & Pamitha’s Dallas Arboretum wedding was so beautiful and I was stoked the whole time leading up to it! These two had such a beautiful and intricate wedding that incorporated special pieces from their relationship, such as custom scarves made for their guests – like the ones you see at professional soccer games. They are avid soccer fans, so it was a super fun way to incorporate that! They also included an array of Pamitha’s Sri Lankan culture, which I loved to witness. Sri Lankan traditions included many things, but to name a few: a Sri Lankan lamp lighting ceremony, Sri Lankan food & drinks, and the exit with people holding a light-up lotus flower, their national flower. It was all completely them, which I absolutely loved. Weddings should represent the couple, and I think Alli and Pamitha chose details that did just that!

It was such a unique wedding that was intimate, yet so fun and exciting! We literally didn’t know where the time when it came to open dancing, which started near the end of the night. That’s when you know it was a good day! It was such a blast, the whole day was perfect, and to top it off, for the grand exit, they had a getaway trolley!

Alli & Pamitha, thank you so much for having me document this special time in your lives. You both are so lovely and I am so blessed to have been able to work with you and your families. I’m even more thankful to call you friends (and I don’t say that about everyone)! You two are such a beautiful couple, inside and out. Congratulations and cheers to many years together that are full of love and happiness!
