Highland Park Village Engagements

Meet Katelyn and Caleb! These Highland Park Village engagements were an absolute dream. We also shot at Flippen Park, which provided sweet greenery for these two. I love how romantic these two locations are, and they always seem to really help emphasize couples’ chemistry.

These two have been together for eight years and have thoroughly enjoyed every milestone together. Katelyn & Caleb met through Caleb’s brother, Isaac, and hit it off real well obviously!  Caleb proposed by surprising Katelyn at the Dallas World Aquarium. Katelyn studies neuroscience, so she thought Caleb was helping get her out to decompress.  Her mom treated her to nails before too! So cute, right?

Katelyn hopes to use her neuroscience degree to go into structural brain imagery and research, and Caleb is busy this season as a tax professional. I’m sure he is counting down the days to April almost as much as their wedding day in July. They love their cat, Curie, and watching Mrs. Doubtfire. Fun fact, Katelyn was adopted at six months old, and her sister, the maid of honor, was the one that picked her.

Thank you so very much for having me be a part of this amazing time in both of your lives! I have loved getting to know y’all so far and can’t wait for the wedding day in July! I hope you love your engagement portraits as much as I have loved getting to know & photograph y’all!
