Meet Mattie & Nicholas! I am so excited to be documenting her their wedding! They were referred by Ricardo Thomas, an amazing wedding planner that I love working with. We went to several great locations in Downtown Dallas for their engagement session. First, we went to Klyde Warren Park and used the walkway with all the gorgeous arches. Next, we walked a few blocks over to Belo Mansion where they are having their reception. We ended our session at Trinity Groves where they like to spend a lot of time and eat at the restaurants, their favorite being Saint Rocco’s. The images all turned out to be so beautiful, even though it was quite cold, they’re troopers! They were naturals during their engagement session and I loved getting to photograph & get to know them even better!

These two met via Tinder, and had their first date at Gloria’s on Greenville.  Two years later they were packing up to leave for Australia for a getaway, and Nicholas wanted to take Mattie to dinner before they left. Mattie had no idea why Nicholas was so adamant about getting her things together and getting to dinner. Nicholas took them to Gloria’s and asked Mattie to be his wife, and she said yes! They spent the evening having fun with friends telling them about their engagement, and the next morning left for Australia.

Mattie’s dream trip is Greece, and Nicholas’ is Maldives. Their favorite thing to do is to travel & explore. They also enjoy visiting different breweries, with Martin House Brewery in Fort Worth being where they most frequent. Mattie’s favorite drink from Martin House Brewery is the True Love Sour.
