Meet Melanie & Tanner! I loved these two and their Arbor Hills engagement portraits. These two have been together since high school! They started dating their senior and junior year and have thoroughly enjoyed every milestone together. They’ve since moved from Typer to Longview and are loving it there. They came all the way from Longview with their two dogs, Lillie & Roxy just for their engagement session! Melanie is now in school for her health science degree & Tanner is now a manager at Enterprise. They both enjoy sports and love walking their dogs in their neighborhood!

Their engagement session took place the other day (in October) and the weather could not have been more perfect in the 70s & 60s by the time we ended and the sun had just set. We had a beautiful purple sky at the end and I just had to get a silhouette for them before we left! These two were naturals during their engagement session and I loved getting to photograph them!

Tanner proposed on a cruise in Saint Thomas using a message in a bottle. The note was a poem he wrote to her and after she read it, he said, “close your eyes, take a deep breath, and turn around.” To which he was on one knee asking for her hand in marriage. Awh! So cute, right?!

Thank you so very much for having me be apart of this amazing time in both of your lives! I have loved getting to work with y’all so far and can’t wait for the wedding day in February! I hope you love your engagement portraits as much as I do!
