Connor & Cadie’s White Rock Lake Proposal | Dallas, Texas

Meet Connor & Cadie! I met Cadie while I was photographing her good friend Barbara’s wedding almost three years ago and am so excited to be documenting her and Connor’s wedding too! Their White Rock Lake proposal session turned out to be so beautiful! Cadie was truly surprised, and the moment was seamless! 

Their Story

These two met online, and after a series of amazing dates they both knew it was meant to be. They have similar interests and both enjoy running competitively so they often train together around White Rock Lake, making it the perfect setting for their proposal. Connor made a plan to pop the big question here for a more intimate and sentimental setting and I was beyond thrilled at the opportunity for MaggShots to be a part of documenting this special milestone for them.

The Big Moment

The day started with a perfectly orchestrated picnic lunch. Once settled, Connor handed Cadie a box, setting the stage for the momentous question he was about to ask. Once Cadie realized what was happening, Connor was already on one knee. Connor asked the big question and through tears Cadie said “yes!”. Their intimate picnic concluded with a celebratory champagne toast, marking the beginning of their journey as an engaged couple. To add an extra layer of joy, friends (including Barbara) met them shortly after to surprise the newly engaged duo, offering heartfelt congratulations and turning this lakeside proposal into a shared celebration of love and friendship.
