Meet the Gordons! This sweet family of 4 booked a trip to Aspen specifically to see the world-renowned fall scenery, so of course we had to get a family session in while they were here! Take a look at this beautiful family’s portrait session at the Maroon Bells.

The Gordon Family

My day with the Gordon’s started with a shuttle ride to the Bells where I had the joy of getting to visit more with them. Lauren and Jeff are from the Castle Rock area and have been married for a little over a decade. They have two precious children, Max and Annie. 

Upon arriving at the Bells, we discovered a beautiful clearing offering a stunning mountain view. One that attracts visitors from all corners of the world, including the Gordons. However, what truly stood out during our visit was the obvious affection this family has for one another. Max and Annie shared endearing hugs while posing together, and Mom and Dad took the time to pose with their children as a family, and also lovingly as a couple. The entire session was filled with laughter, smiles, and even a few playful moments!

If you’re looking for a perfect fall photoshoot location, like the Gordons, then the Maroon Bells is an excellent choice. Its stunning landscape provides a perfect backdrop for family portraits, and you can be sure to get some truly breathtaking images.

Apart from the Bells, Aspen has many other locations with gorgeous fall scenery. Downtown Aspen is one such place, with its charming shops and restaurants. The Silver Queen Gondola is another that offers breathtaking fall views of Aspen Mountain. Many parks, such as Paepcke Park, are scattered throughout the town, providing ample opportunities for relaxation, play, and some fall fun. Lastly, for those who don’t mind a bit of a drive, a trip to Ashcroft can be a magical experience. The colorful autumn hues and the historic charm of the ghost town make for a perfect setting to capture some unforgettable memories!
