Melanie & Tanner’s February Ashton Gardens wedding was so beautiful! The weather was a bit foggy, but Melanie didn’t mind one bit. Melanie & Tanner are so in love and on their big day you could really see the emotion because of their interactions with one another. We did their engagement session several months ago, which you can see here! You can also see Melanie’s bridal blog here. She looks stunning! The wedding day was a very intimate occasion.

A few of my favorite moments were when Melanie had a first look with her Dad, it was a beautiful moment, and he could barely look at her because of all the emotion. Coupled with her parents gifting her with a pair of diamond earring, they wanted to give her her first diamond before she received her wedding ring. In addition to all this emotion the family gathered around Melanie & Tanner to all for the journey of supporting Melanie & Tanner on the path of marriage & pray over them after her father had walked her down the aisle. It was a very beautiful, emotional, tear filled moment unifying them.

Melanie chose to have her two younger sisters, Alyssa and Kinsey, be bridesmaids and during the toasts her youngest sister Kinsey was going to give a speech, but had a bit of stage fright. Again, the family gathered around her in support. Unable to compose herself to give the speech, another bridesmaid stepped up to help and read Kinsey’s speech for her. In spite of Kinsey not reading the speech herself it was very moving, personable, and loving.

Melanie & Tanner, thank you so much for having me document this special time in your lives. You both are so fun and I am so blessed to have been able to work with you and your families. I am so excited to be sharing your wedding day blog with you and everyone else. You two are such a beautiful couple.
